Product Operations Manager
The Product Operations Manager will work directly with the founder to assist in the development, expansion, and production of the bath, body and skincare lines
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop launch timeline and activities and oversee timeline to ensure that all key dates are met in the launch of the new product
  • Assist founder to finalize formulations, work with labs to develop and finalize products, and maintain relationships with labs to ensure effective development
  • Design opportunities for customer trials and evaluate trial of product on customers
  • Research and source components and labels
  • Develop cost model/budget for each new launch and manage operations to budget
  • Identify formulators and contract manufacturers to produce products and manage accounts to ensure on time, on budget product development
  • Ensure that ingredient documentation is completed and is accurate
  • Define process to onboard new retailers and define training/support for all retailers
  • Develop process and templates for customer service and support
  • Define inventory process and manage inventory levels/quality
  • Develop warehousing and shipping process to ensure on-time, efficient fulfillment
  • Manage EDI compliance and roll out
  • Serve as quality control on all aspects of the customer experience, including packaging, ingredient info, shipping, communications, and reviews
    Verify that vendors and partners adhere to relevant policies and procedures
Expectations – First 6 Months:
  • Ramp up knowledge of current bath and body product line and the new skin care line
  • Design and implement a customer trial and feedback process
  • Identify contract manufacturers for the skin care launch
  • Finalize component and label selection
  • 5-7 years of relevant product operations experience
