Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will execute the company’s social media strategy developed in collaboration with the Marketing Director, as well as attend to general marketing duties as assigned.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execute social media strategy and content across all social channels, consistent with the overall marketing strategy
  • Ensure milk + honey’s social media voice is authentic and represents the brand
  • Manage social media marketing calendar and proactively plan future campaigns
  • Create, edit, and publish accurate daily content that aligns with brand vision, builds meaningful community connections, and encourages authentic engagement
  • Leverage user-generated content to increase customer and influencer engagement
  • Identify, recruit and manage influencers to craft quality on-brand content
  • Serve as a social media expert, tracking latest development of key social media platforms, tools and trends
  • Assist in preparing for and attending trade shows and industry events
  • Develop and coordinate marketing emails including inception, creation, editing and executing accurately
  • Manage email lists and any other client points of contact for marketing
  • Update company website with new content and promotions
  • Support marketing team and founder at key industry events
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to measure success of efforts
 
Expectations – First 6 Months:
  • Refine social media strategy with initial, primary focus on Facebook and Instagram, adding additional channels moving forward
  • Develop original content and curate user-generated content to create buzz about new location openings and product launch
  • Identify initial list of influencers to target with social media campaigns
 
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant social media experience
  • Significant experience in digital marketing, with proficiency in social media, email, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, video/YouTube campaigns
  • Work experience in beauty (skin care preferred), with a well-developed network of contacts within the industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work
  • Ability to be resourceful and drive significant impact with limited resources
  • Experience using data to analyze the efficacy of marketing campaigns and use those insights to plan future campaigns
  • Excellent communicator with superior writing skills who can work in a collaborative environment, but without an editor
  • A team player who can handle multiple responsibilities
  • Creative, positive and proactive personality
