milk + honey is looking for a Medical Spa Manager who will be responsible for managing milk + honey’s Medical Aesthetics practice. The Medical Spa Manager will be responsible for managing milk + honey’s Medical Aesthetics practice. milk + honey currently offers a wide range of medical aesthetics services at its Arboretum Market, River Oaks and Clearfork locations, and will soon roll these services out to all locations. This manager will be responsible for this portion of the business across all locations. This position will be responsible for maintaining an elevated medical spa experience using cutting edge technology, highly trained employees, expert medical direction, and the customer experience that has earned milk + honey dozens of accolades. 

This is a full-time position that will require approximately 40-50 hours per week and will work directly with the Medical Director and other milk + honey staff. This role will report to the Director of Operations, and will take additional direction from the Medical Director and will collaborate with the management staff that is in place across all of our locations. We are looking for someone who can perform as a generalist, drive sales and growth, is organized and timely, while contributing to marketing and excellent customer service. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

           Financial

  • Be accountable for the profitability and growth of milk + honey’s Medical Aesthetics practice.

  • Work with Finance and Accounting on creating a medical spa budget the includes revenue and profitability projections, and adhering to it on a monthly basis.

  • Assist in calculating and updating daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly business goals.

  • Proactively identify opportunities, with proposals to meet or exceed revenue projections.

  • Responsible for all medical spa inventory levels and ordering, ensuring that appropriate inventory level is maintained. 

  • Responsible for determining the schedule of our medical staff and providers including working with them on vacation coverage, optimizing schedules to maximize revenue and more. Will carefully communicate with location GMs as medical spa services will be sharing resources with our locations. 

    Vision & Growth

  • Deliver exceptional client service, provide prospective clients with appropriate information, ensure that any adverse events are handled appropriately and expeditiously, and be responsible for addressing any service defects. 

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department on medical spa marketing plans and various promotions across all locations. Be the point person for events, organizing promotions with suppliers and vendors. 

  • Be the expert on medical spa services, product knowledge and best practices.

  • Must be able to create and execute actionable project plans for the roll out of new locations or new business initiatives.

    Brand Standards

  • Be responsible for the organization and maintenance of our standard operating procedures (“Our Playbook”). Help to develop new processes and procedures as needed in partnership with medical staff. 

  • Retain and store records in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and other regulatory agencies. 

  • Coordinate all medical spa equipment purchases, sanitation schedule, maintenance, and warranties.

    Human Resources

  • Coordinate all employee medical spa training to ensure compliance as it relates to HIPAA, OSHA, as well as all internally developed protocols. 

  • Will be the liaison with our team of reservationists and front desk staff to ensure that they have the capabilities of properly scheduling medical spa services and checking these clients out at the front desk.  

  • Collaborate with Location Management Staff across all locations on employee relations, such as, reviews, disciplinary actions, events, contests, and overall location operations.

    Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working in a medical spa environment with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience.

  • Has strong experience working with performing data analysis to help make business decisions. 

  • Experience and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

  • Must be able to travel, as needed, to any milk + honey warehouse/location. 

  • Must be able to sustain reasonable physical activity for the duration of a scheduled shift and able to lift at least 20 lbs.

  • Can work proficiently with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Drive.
